Field Rankings

The Welsh Field Ranking is maintained by the F.L.O. (Field Liaison Officer) who can be contacted for further information through the committee page.

All 7-field disciplines are represented and you will need to complete at least 3 Welsh field shoots to get listed. The ranking list runs from March to September.

Placing is determined by a points system as used by GNAS field committee.

Target Rankings

With the outdoor season now upon us, Welsh Archery Association will again be running a ranking system for all senior target archers.

First of all I would like to congratulate last year’s winners who were:-

Men’s Recurve                        Tony Nilsen (who beat Glen Bell after going to 6th result)
Ladies Compound                  Tracey Anderson

Eligible rounds are Fita’s. York’s, Herefords & Fita 70’s

 (a) For Gentleman Fita’s, York’s and Fita70m  shot under GNAS/FITA control in Wales will automatically be eligible and for Lady’s Fita’s, Herefords and Fita 70m.

(b) All outdoor target rounds shot under GNAS/FITA control outside Wales will be eligible, providing a results sheet is posted or e-mailed to me clearly showing the archers name, no later than two months after the tournament date.

As with last year the final rankings will be based on an average handicap of an archer’s best 5 tournaments.
